Alpha Chi is proud to say that one of our very own has been named as a recipient of the 2017 Significant Sig Award. Congratulations to Brother David Brickley ’65 on this incredible achievement!

As we reported when we caught up with David just a few months ago, he is a George Mason School of Law grad, a Vietnam veteran and bronze star recipient, and President and CEO of the September 11 National Memorial Trail Alliance. Among several other amazing accomplishments, he was an elected member of the Virginia House of Delegates from 1976 to 1998, and was Director of the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation from 1998 to 2002.

David is the first Penn State Significant Sig since 2007, when Brothers Edwin McLaughlin ’57 and the late Frank Luerssen ’50 both received the honor.

The Significant Sig Award is given to members who have been nominated for doing outstanding work in their respective fields. This year’s Significant Sig Awards will be presented at the 81st Grand Chapter in Providence, Rhode Island on June 24.

Congratulations, Brother Brickley!
